Express Shipping via UPS is also currently available for European Community countries, the United Arab Emirates and Australia for an additional fee (this will eventually be extended to other countries).

If you are a resident in Italy, Czech or the Slovak Republic, you must order from our European website. Desio no longer ships to Mexico due to issues with Customs.

Shipping Method

Desio’s regular shipping method utilizes Registered Mail, which provides a unique code enabling customers to track the whereabouts of their parcel and requires a signature upon delivery. Express shipping also provides a unique tracking code to track the whereabouts of the parcel.

If a Purchaser submits a wrong or insufficient delivery address which causes the return of a product to us, or if the item is unclaimed, the Purchaser agrees to pay 12€ to for reshipping and repacking ( agrees to cover the shipping charge only once - reimbursement is not permitted). In the event that a parcel is returned to our headquarters and the customer requests a refund, the customer is responsible for the initial shipping and handling fees.

Product Availability and Dispatch Times

Plano (non-prescription) and Standard Prescription lenses are dispatched within 5 business days, while Special Prescription lenses may take up to 4 weeks, depending on whether there is current stock in our warehouse. The dispatch time for Toric lenses (lenses for myopic astigmatism) is 5-6 weeks as these lenses must be custom made after the order is placed. We cannot offer any guarantee and the time indicated is approximate. Dispatch days are Monday through Friday and do not include weekends and Italian public holidays. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email which includes your tracking number as proof the consignment was sent. It is necessary to wait a few days before tracking your order as all data must be uploaded by the postal system.

Delivery times are approximate and not exact. Any delay does not constitute a rescission of the contract between and the Purchaser. If insufficient data is given by the Purchaser to process the order, we will not be responsible for delays in delivery. In case of delays on our part beyond the reasonable time, we will issue a refund to the Purchaser.

Delivery times will vary depending on your location. The average delivery time with Registered Mail is:

  • Europe: 8-15 business days
  • Canada - USA: 15-20 business days
  • Other Countries: 20-30 business days

UPS Express Shipping to European Community countries: 24-48 hours (excluding weekends)

UPS Express Shipping to the United Arab Emirates and Australia: 5-7 working days
