Shipping Methods, Delivery time & Cost offers its customers a unique free of charge registered mail shipping service. You can therefore receive Desio™ color contact lenses at the same price, no matter your country of residence.
UPS express shipping is also currently available for the European Community, the United Arab Emirates and Australia for an additional €20.00 Euro fee, (this service will eventually be extended to other countries).
Residents of Italy, the Czech or the Slovak Republic, are required to order via our European website.

Dispatch Time
All available lenses from our online store are dispatched within 5 business days excluding toric.
The dispatch time for Toric lenses (lenses for myopic astigmatism) could take up to 8 weeks as these lenses must be custom made after the order is placed. We cannot offer any guarantee and the time indicated is approximate.
Dispatch days are Monday through Friday and do not include weekends and Italian public holidays. Your Desio lenses are shipped from our warehouse in Italy.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email which includes a unique tracking number as proof the consignment was sent. You can locate your tracking code by logging into your Desio account (Dashboard > View Order > Shipments: scroll down the page to view your tracking code).

Delivery times are approximate and not exact. Any delay does not constitute a rescission of the contract between and the Purchaser. If insufficient data is given by the Purchaser to process the order, we will not be responsible for delays in delivery. In case of delays on our part beyond the reasonable time, we will issue a refund to the Purchaser.

Purchasers agree to track their own orders. Parcel tracking varies depending on the shipping method selected at the time of ordering:

  • Tracking Expedited shipping: UPS Express Shipping is currently available for European Community countries, the United Arab Emirates and Australia for an additional €20.00 Euro fee. These parcels can only be tracked on the UPS website.
  • Tracking Registered Mail: Desio’s regular shipping method utilises Registered Mail, which provides a unique code enabling customers to track the whereabouts of their parcel and requires a signature upon delivery. Purchasers agree to track their own orders. Kindly follow your shipment and be ready to sign for delivery. The tracking code remains the same throughout the entire journey
How do I track my order via Registered Mail
  1. All Parcels can initially be tracked on Dutch Post website (Post NL)
  2. Once the parcel arrives in the country of destination and clears customs, it must be tracked via your local postal service using the same tracking code (eg: USA: USPS, UK: Royal Mail, France: La Poste, etc).

Please note: after dispatch you must allow a couple of days for the postal service to upload the tracking code into their system between each update.
Important Notes
  • If an unsuccessful delivery attempt is made: The postal service will leave you a notice and you must go and collect the parcel from your local post office.
    Parcels are held at the local post office for between 7-15 days (depending on your country) and after this time are automatically returned to the sender.
    In the event that a parcel is returned to our headquarters in Italy, we will notify the customer straightaway and offer reshipping options.
  • Returning parcels: If a Purchaser submits a wrong or insufficient delivery address which causes the return of a product to us, or if the item is unclaimed, the Purchaser agrees to pay 12€ (20€ for UPS) to for reshipping and repacking ( agrees to cover the shipping charge only once - reimbursement is not permitted).
    In the event that a parcel is returned to our headquarters and the customer requests a refund, the customer is responsible for the initial shipping and handling fees.
  • Important note to Australian customers: Unfortunately Australia Post does not provide online tracking for registered international mail and therefore your parcel can only be tracked while in Europe.
    If this is not acceptable to you, we recommend you place an order via UPS Express Shipping. If you still wish to place an order utilizing Registered Mail, please acknowledge and accept this as your decision.
